Three Rivers Holdings, Inc. is the holding company for the family's interest in Unison Health Plans. When sold in 2008, the Three Rivers Holdings' HMO subsidiaries were engaged in the Medicaid and/or Medicare health plan business in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Delaware and South Carolina serving approximately 385,000 members.

Dobbs Automotive
Dobbs Automotive was started by the family and a partner in 1921 and was held for seventy-eight years. In the 1950s and 1960s, the company was the largest seller of Ford vehicles in the U.S. and had as many as 50 Ford dealerships from Puerto Rico to Hawaii. When sold in 1999 to AutoNation, Dobbs Automotive had over 22 dealerships (Toyota, Lexus, Honda as well as domestic brands). For many years, it was among the largest multi-location dealerships in the United States.

Dobbs Houses / Dobbs International
Dobbs Houses was started as a restaurant franchise and grew further into an airline catering company over time. It became one of the largest airline catering companies in the world with operations as far as Europe and Africa. The business eventually went public on the NYSE and was ultimately sold to Squibb Meyers in the 1970s.
